Cavs were put in group 2 along with Barrow Celtic A, Holker A, Ulverston and Wigan Rangers.
Cavs first game was against Ulverston winning it 2-0,both goals scored by J. Watts. Then losing 1-0 in the last kick of the ball against a very strong team from Wigan, The third game was with Celtic 'A' with Cavs scoring the only goal winning it 1-0. (S.Hadwin)
With ourselves and Holker 'A'on the same points this was a decider, the winner went through to the semi final, with Cavs having more possesion and goal attempts then Holker throughout the allocated time,But Holker only needed one chance which put an end to the Cavs tournament, Cavs finishing 3rd in the group.
This was a magnificent display for a team who played together for the first time against teams who have been together for a few years, and also two teams who are the best teams in the forth coming league.
Both teams who won our league went all the way to the final.

Well Done to everyone who took part in the Tournament. you were a credit to Cavs and the new lads who heve recently joined the club, Matty Mcgill, Jon Ross, Aron Fell and Josh Edwards.
2006/07 Presentation Night
The U16's held they end of the season presentation night at the Labour club on Friday evening. Which was a very good turnout by the U16's and the U14's.
The U16's Trophy Winners on the night were:
Players Player of the season went to Paul Rickleton who also won the Managers Player of the season,
Top goal scorer went to Nathan Moscrop with a total of 27 goals who also won the Manager's award,
The most improved player of the season was shared by Stephen Critchley and Michael Usher,
Luke Benson and Jonathon Denby also picked up awards for they effort throughout the season.
Well done to everyone who played this season for the U16's
